Passing of a Veteran
Post 3822 Life member 10031574, Jim Baxter, passed away 3 October 20l1 and was a life member of the post since 1992. He had many friends here in Panama and was active in the church as well as Post 1414 Elks in Balboa. He served in Vietnam where he was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. Comrade Baxter will be interned in the United States.
The Funeral was held at St. Marys Church in Balboa .
Honor Guards of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Panama Posts 3822 and 3835 provided the honors at the church.
